Modern superstition is a weird phenomena. You would think that civilized people wouldn't fall into the trap of easy salvation, munching happily on Jesus' blood and guts, not quite sure what the priest is mumbling about anyway. These mindless automatons teach their kids to follow the same doctrine, follow or get booted from the flock. Scaring people with hell is a bit too medieval even for them, I suppose.
Internet and magazines are full of stories where some poor bastard managed to escape from the clutches of some child raping religion. There are organizations to help these kind of people to get back on their feet which is kind of counter intuitive as we should rather get rid of the source of this terrible practice. It's like saving one stray cat from an island of thousands upon thousands. It's nice but doesn't fix anything.
It's definitely the source of this evil that we want to behead. Religious people are simple-minded and their mind doesn't unfortunately improve if they quit going to church. They are probably just more confused without their imaginary guidelines and morals that suddenly need to be grounded in reality instead of getting them from the shepherd. Most of them are fakes even, these believers, following along because of the community, because that's what they're told and taught, and yet they carry God's merchandise hanging from their necks like the biggest fanboys.
One saved christian is useless, go for the throne instead. Philosophers haven't managed to kill God because it's so easy to defend non-existent entity as imaginary thing can have imaginary excuses. We can see how times have influenced God's word, the Book keeps evolving like it's a freaking dictionary and not a holy scripture. It's taken literally or symbolically as the situation demands. Little does it matter though since most believers never read it in the first place, and those who do are typically so far up in the ass of the Omnipotent that they never see the light of truth again.
All this leaves just one question: How do you fight the organized religion?
